“At the Factory”
It's astonishing how much grandeur can fit inside a small town.
Yana Kuznetsova · Moscow / St. Petersburg
I love the moment the lights go down and everything begins. I organise festivals and concerts, study directing at ISI, build visuals out of lines and rhythm, and put the present into notes and film.
It's astonishing how much grandeur can fit inside a small town.
How I stopped hearing rhythm only in music and started feeling and catching it everywhere — in the body, facades, and the script of a city festival.
Why fear never really leaves, and why that is no reason not to try.
